I'm a passionate birder, field naturalist, and world traveller, and a trained biologist. I have worked for over 10 years as a guide for Tropical Birding. At the same time, I have co-authored many natural history books, which are shown below. I work as a consultant for Promised Land Ventures. Born in the US, I first travelled and worked extensively in the western hemisphere and Europe, before moving to Africa, where I lived for 15 years, primarily in Madagascar. I am currently based in Pennsylvania, in the northeastern United States.
