There has been a big jump in cases in recent days, precipitating the decision to "lock down" for another two weeks. Schools are closed again, and masks are supposed to be mandatory in public in all towns, though I haven't yet been out in my town to see how seriously this will be enforced. I'm afraid that our chances of containing this blasted virus, which once seemed promising, are rapidly diminishing. Meanwhile, news about the herbal tonic has percolated into the English-speaking media. The WHO has even promised to evaluate it.
